DISTRICT ADVISORY COMMITTEE (DAC)

The District Advisory Committee (DAC) is a team of parents, students, BISD staff, business and community representatives that work to provide valuable input to the Superintendent and BISD Board of Trustees regarding the continuous improvement of the district, learning experiences for students and staff, and long-range strategic planning and performance monitoring.

LONG-RANGE FACILITIES PLANNING COMMITTEE (LRFPC)

The Long-Range Facilities Planning Committee (LRFPC)  is a team of parents, BISD staff, business and community representatives that work to provide valuable input to the Superintendent and BISD Board of Trustees regarding the responsibility to provide BISD students and staff with safe and effective conditions for learning now and in the future.

SCHOOL HEALTH ADVISORY COMMITTEE (SHAC)

The School Health Advisory Committee (SHAC) is a team of parents, BISD staff, nurses, and community representatives working to ensure all children in BISD receive appropriate health education instruction that accurately reflects the current issues facing the local community.

CAMPUS ADVISORY COMMITTEES

Each campus hosts an advisory committee made up of campus leaders, teachers, staff, and parents who work together to promote learning and growth of students and staff at the campus level with actions aligned to the District's long-range strategic action plan and ensure the needs of the campus are met in an appropriate and effective way for the campus community.
