Bells ISD is proud to honor the hard work of our teachers and staff for their summer time learning. For the work, teachers and staff are honored with exchange hours. Staff who earn 12 hours of professional learning during the summer hours are able to exchange the two scheduled days at Thanksgiving Break. Read the information below to learn more.
Training must be identified, endorsed, and approved by campus administrator to qualify for exchange hours.
Approval must be obtained prior to participating in the exchange training.
The training must take place on a non-contract day during the summer and teacher/staff may not receive pay for the training.
Professional Learning exchange hours must be accumulated during non-contract time.
Exchange hours request forms must be submitted to your campus principal by May 9th, 2025 and verification must be submitted prior to July 25th, 2025.
