The Pride of Bells ISD - The Bells Panther Band
YES! The Panther Band has a Booster Club that helps with all things band. To join the Bells Band Boosters please contact our Panther Band Booster President, Jennifer McCarthy.
Don't have time to be part of the Booster Club? We still need parent help with getting donations and organizing snack bags etc.
You can sign up for Remind, visit our Panther Band Facebook page, or sign up to receive weekly emails. We also send home a hard copy of our Game Day Schedule every Monday. We will also be sending home TWIB information, weekly! (TWIB stands for This Week in Band)

It depends on what grade your student is in and prior participation in the program. As a "new to marching band" member, the first time cost of supplies is around $165. This includes a theme shirt, "under the uniform" shirt and short combo, marching shoes (specific kind), marching uniform cleaning, performance gloves, music/lyre/flipfolder, and pre-game meals.
High School Band: Yes. On the supply form, we ask for $7 a game for food. This helps offset the cost for our Booster Club. Food may include any fast food meals. If you are on a restricted diet or have specific dietary needs, please let a director know ASAP.
Junior High Band: Yes. When the junior high bands go to a festival performance, we ask for students to pay the entry fee for entertainment, which include a meal.
All fees and supplies can be paid for through fundraising or scholarship.
The 2024-2025 school year will require rehearsals outside of class. There will be 1 rehearsal per week for up to 1 hour, beginning immediately after school. The goal of these rehearsals is to combine our winds and percussion to prepare for performances as a full band. We will typically have at least 2-3 of these rehearsals before a concert, and possibly more during preparation for UIL in the Spring semester. All rehearsals will be announced at least one week prior to the rehearsal.
