Sofia Copplola Cinema 5

The Sofia Coppola Cinema is located in Prep B's classroom. All films will be on a loop, allowing for your child’s film to be viewed multiple times throughout the festival. Each of the cinema’s films will be split into 15 minute sessions.

Sofia Carmina Coppola is a female director, screenwriter, producer and an actress born in New York city. She was born on the 14 of May, 1971. In 2003, she won a Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for the comedy-drama Lost In Translation. In 2010, she was the third woman to get an Academy Award for Best Director for the drama Somewhere. She became the first American woman to win the Golden Lion.

Her father, Francis Ford Coppola was a director, producer and screenwriter.
