About Mrs. Rival

Education - I received my undergraduate degree at Rutgers University and a Masters Degree in Education from Neumann University. I have teaching certifications in both General Education and Special Education.  ○ 

Experience - Prior to teaching preschool, I taught in First Grade and was an Instructional Assistant in Kindergarten for. ○ 

Education Philosophy - I believe that every student can learn - just at their own pace and in their own way.  It is my job to "meet" the child where they are and help them progress to another level. I also feel that learning should be fun so I like to include a lot of movement activities and games to our learning. As a preschool teacher my job is to give students the foundational skills necessary to be successful in kindergarten and to get students excited to go to school. ○
