About Me

Brief Bio: 

Hello! My name is Lauren Karpen and this is my 7th year teaching in Bellmawr! This is my 2nd year in the Preschool Disabled Classroom and I absolutley love what I do! When I am not in school, I love to spend time with my family and friends, read a good book, make some crafts, going to Flyers games, and play field hockey. I am so excited to be back at school! It is going to be a GREAT year! ○

• Education Philosophy ○ 

I am a firm believer that children do not learn until they feel safe and comfortable. One of the first things I do in my classroom is to build relationships with students. I believe in the mutual respect of both student and teacher. When trust and respect is shown, students will grow emotionally, socially, and academically.
