My name is Nicole Cutrera and this is my 7th year in 4th grade! I graduated from Rutgers University and I recently went back to Rutgers to receive my Master’s in Special Education. I am so excited to be one of your teachers this year and I am looking forward to getting to know you/ your student.
Mrs. Dutka and I cannot wait to co-teach together again and watch our students accomplish new tasks this year. You can look forward to Multiple Masters, writing new pieces, and becoming stronger readers this year! We know we are going to have a great year together in 4th grade.

About Mrs. Dutka
Hello families, my name is Lauren Dutka. This is my 16th year teaching in the Bellmawr School District; time flies when you love what you do! I graduated from Rowan University with degrees in Elementary Education and Writing Arts. My passion quickly became helping students that needed extra support and varied learning styles, this led me to pursue a Certificate of Graduate Studies in Teaching Students with Learning Disabilities.
When I am not at school, I love spending time with my husband and our two children. Our favorite place is Ocean City, NJ.
I love co-teaching with Ms. Cutrera! We like the students to have a unique experience of having two teachers in the room. We love to make learning engaging, fun, and student-centered. We are so excited to watch our students blossom this year!

Our Teaching Philosophy
In our classroom, all students will learn through a variety of ways. We love doing whole brain teaching by incorporating songs, movements and chants into our daily instruction. We understand that all students learn at a different pace and we will provide instruction to meet the needs of our students. We will challenge all students and show them the relevance of why each topic is important inside and outside of the classroom.
However, in order to provide this engaging and challenging instruction, it all starts with the relationships we make with each and every child. We value getting to know every student inside and outside of the classroom. We are involved outside of the classroom and we love seeing students at their sport events or at various Bellmawr activities. Our overall goal is to have students feel safe to come to school every day. We want them to be open and honest with us. By taking the time to build that strong relationship with every student it reflects in their learning and they will see how successful they can be in our classroom.
