About Me ○ I am 32 years old and live with my fiancé and our two fat cats, Max and Charlie. As a former athlete I still enjoy the occasional long distance run or gym session to help keep my body working!
Education ○ La Salle University (2008-2012) Bachelor's in Elementary/Special Education and William Paterson (2020-2022) Master's in Educational Leadership
Experience ○ I taught for 8 years at a charter school in Camden, NJ. During my time there I was promoted as an instructional coach and eventually the assistant principal of the middle school. This will be my second year as a fourth grade teacher at Burke School!
Education Philosophy ○ As a former athlete, I view the classroom as a playin field with myself acting as a coach and students as teammates. I strive to create a rigorous, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all my students. My main goal in my second year working at EMB is to ensure our rising fifth graders are set up for success the moment they attend Bell Oaks.
