About Me

My name is Dana Myers. I have had the amazing opportunity of working as an elementary teacher for 9 years. I started my teaching career as a student teacher, here in Bellmawr, with Mrs. Fulleman. I have been lucky enough to call Bellmawr Park my home ever since! I couldn't think of a better learning community to be a part of!

I received my B.A Degree in Elementary Education from Rowan University. I am certified to teach grades K-6. I also received my B.A in Liberal Studies: Humanities and Social Sciences. For the past 9 years, I have always taught 3rd grade. It's the best grade to teach! Why would I ever want to leave 😊

My educational philosophy is the following: I believe my role as an elementary teacher is to nurture and encourage the lifelong learning of my students. Through hands-on activities, classroom discussion, and even the use of humor, I hope to prompt students to think creatively and explore their natural curiosity. I always want my students to believe that they CAN do hard things as long as they TRY.
