About Me

My name is Rosemary Taylor. I am a Special Education teacher in my 17th year at Bell Oaks Upper Elementary School. I am the Bell Oaks Library/Media Book Circulation teacher for the students . I am also the Yearbook Advisor for Bell Oaks, and the Public Information Specialist for the district.

I am Highly Qualified in Middle School Math, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies. I am also a certified Teacher of Students with Disabilities, in addition to being certified in Elementary Education K-6. I earned a BA in Elementary Education, as well as as BA in Geography, at Rowan University, graduating with Summa Cum Laude Honors.

In my free time I am an avid baker, amateur photographer, and love being in my canoe on the lake, or having my toes in the sand at the shore during my summer reprieve. Teaching is a second career and I feel profoundly fortunate to be able to teach, and hopefully inspire my students.

My educational philosophy is simple. I believe that the "same is not equal," and that all students deserve to be taught in an environment that instills self discovery and awareness. Not every student learns the same way, therefore my approach to teaching must be as varied as the personalities and needs of the students I strive to educate.
