Meet the Teacher

Hello!

My name is Monica Smith.  This is my sixth year teaching Second Grade here at Ethel M. Burke School.  I am so excited for our school year together! 

I graduated from Rowan University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Liberal Studies: History & American Studies. Growing up, I wanted to be an elementary school teacher just like my mom!

In my spare time I love to travel, cook, and spend time with my friends & family.
