About Me

My name is Melissa Rice. I am a general education teacher at Ethel M. Burks School. I have taught 4th grade, Pre-K, and continue to teach 1st grade.

I am a Rowan University graduate and earned a BA in Elementary Education with a minor in Sociology. I graduated with Summa Cum Laude Honors.

My educational philosophy is that I believe that all students deserve an equal opportunity to learn. All students are unique in their own way. I will meet differentiated learning needs to help all students meet their full potential.
