Hello! My name is Jan Dagenais and I teach 6th grade Math. I am also the 6th grade Renaissance Advisor that recognizes those students who exemplify in academics, attendance and behavior each marking period.
In my spare time, I love spending time at our camper on the lake, traveling, going to concerts and being with my family and friends.
My vision for the classroom is to: "Build a team of clutch players." The phrase "clutch players" is a baseball term that refers to team members who can really be counted on in tough times. I view the class as a team in which every student supports one another and works toward common goals. I feel this kind of learning environment is more reflective of the real world experiences your children will encounter and will help them to succeed by building cooperative problem solving skills.
Your child's success is my number one goal and I am excited to help your child achieve this year!
