Sydney Stocklin

I graduated from Rowan University where I studied Inclusive Education and earned my Bachelors degree. I have a K-6 General Ed. Teaching Certification and a Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification.
I did my student teaching in Camden, NJ, where I was able to work with a diverse group of students and gain a lot of experience in the classroom. I spent two months in the Pre-K wing of Bellmawr park where I was filling a maternity leave position. I spent the rest of the year in 1st grade!
I believe that a classroom should be a safe, caring, and welcoming environment where children are free to speak their minds, be themselves and grow as learners and individuals. I will use inclusive and collaborative strategies to ensure our students take charge of their own education.
I love watching movies, visiting Disney World, trying new restaurants, and cooking. My favorite color is pink! I love the summertime and I spend my summers down the shore in Wildwood, NJ!
