About Me 

Welcome to third grade! 

My name is Ms. Klaus and I am so excited you are in my class this year. We are going to do so many fun things together as we learn Reading, Writing, Math, Science, Social Studies, and more! I can’t wait to get started. You won’t believe how much you’re going to learn and grow this school year while having lots of fun, too! In our class, we are a family that help and accept one another. I believe that valuable learning occurs when you feel comfortable and happy in your classroom.  We have so much planned already, and I am looking forward to getting to know you better!  

 It’s going to be a fantastic school year full of learning and exploring. I can’t wait to learn all about you, but first, here are few things about me. 

I grew up in Haddonfield, NJ. I started my college career at Saint Joseph’s University studying Psychology. Then, I continued my educational career and earned a master’s degree in Education at La Salle University. This is my 7th year of teaching and my first year at Ethel M Burke. I am certified to teach Pre K-3, Special Education, and K-5. 

 In my free time I enjoy practicing and teaching yoga, reading, journaling, exercising, and cooking. I like to spend my free time hiking and relaxing on the beach.
