About Me

I graduated from Rowan University in 2020 with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelors degree in Literacy Studies with a Teacher of Reading Certificate.

This is my fifth year teaching and my first year at Bellmawr Park. I taught second grade for two years and kindergarten for two years. My teaching philosophy centers around fostering resilience and a growth mindset. My role is to enable my students to emerge from challenging experiences while forming a positive sense of themselves and their future. If my students develop resiliency, they'll be able to face disappointment better, cope with loss, adapt to change and much more. Developing a strong growth mindset will serve each of my students no matter their physical or cognitive ability.

I'm recently engaged and a new home owner! I have a five year old French bulldog named Peanut and my students love to ask about her and talk about their own pets. When I'm not in the classroom, I love to exercise, read, scrapbook, and spend time with my niece and nephew,
