In August and September we have been working on writing our names, learning to use scissors and glue and classroom procedures. We are also focusing on following directions. We have also been learning about apples and are beginning to learn about the 5 senses. We will be learning about the letter Mm next week and will begin reading groups. In math, we are focusing on counting from 1 to 10 and writing the numbers.

Homework goes home every Monday and comes back to school on Friday. I've heard lots of reports of students being excited about doing homework.
