Hello!

Going on year five in Belle Plaine teaching 7th grade social studies, and I love it here! Overall, this will be my eleventh year teaching. I am a graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato with a Bachelor of Science degree in social studies education. I recently graduated from St. Catherine University with a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

The picture to the right is my little family. My husband, Jake, works for North Memorial as a supervisor and our little guy is Gavin, who will be turning four in October. Gavin keeps us really busy! We also have a husky, Ace, and cat, Sammy.

I love spending time with my family and friends, going to the lake, and reading. My educational interests include social justice education, incorporating technology, project based learning, and restorative practices.
