Share with a buddy or your class 3 of the rules you learnt about taking care of your chromebook.

Click here to make your own copy of the Chromebook Safety Rules.

Change the name of the copy to include your name and put it into your cybersafety folder.

Work with a buddy or on your own to highlight the safety rules in Green, Yellow or Red.

Green means you understand and can follow the rule.

Yellow means you're not sure about the rule and you need to find out more.

Red means you don't understand and/or can't follow the rule.

Using Google Spreadsheets to make a picture. Getting better at drag and drop.

Use the "Fill Colour" option to fill the cells and shapes with blocks of colour. Learn how to select more than one cell at a time to get the picture made faster. Create your own artwork using your imagination.

Make a copy of the Google Spreadsheet Minecraft character by clicking on this link or click on one of the characters. Change the name of the copy to include your name and save it in your cybersmart folder.

Learn how to download images.

Learn how to insert, crop, rotate and resize images in a Google Drawing.

Learn how to insert shapes and create text in a Google Drawing.

Activity - How to make your Comic Collage

1. Read your Kawa of Care agreement.

2. With a buddy, choose 4 rules that you think are the most important.

3. Make a copy of the Google Drawing template by clicking here or on the image above.

4. Use photos of you taking care of your chromebook or use the images emailed to you by your teacher.

5. Download the images and insert them into your collage drawing using "Insert" then "Image".

6. Resize the image to the size you want.

7. If you would like to insert shapes, use "Insert" then "Shape".

8. Have fun with images and shapes until your Google drawing has 4 images to show the 4 rules you chose.

Site for free images

Unsplash has lots of photos that are free to use. Check whether you need to say where the image came from, this is called "accreditation".

Remove Background

Remove the background from images to improve they way they look when you insert the images into slides, drawings and documents. Use it to remove the background from photos so that you can insert yourself and friends into other places.
