Functional Analysis
A functional analysis is an experimental design where treatment conditions are arranged representing antecedents and consequences similar to a student’s natural routines to verify hypothesized behavioral functions influencing problem behavior. Five- ten minute intervals are conducting with the following conditions: attention, play, demand, and tangible. Identified behaviors are targeted for the functional analysis.
