Zeina Eissa 

BIO:

After obtaining my bachelors degree; I followed my passion and studied filmmaking at the New York Film Academy back in 2012 and started my career by working on several short movies in Los Angeles. 

Since then I produced numerous Ads, documentaries, short movies and more than 10 of the most influential national and regional campaigns in the Middle East that addressed social problems such as Bullying, Violence against Women, Human Trafficking, Parenting and FGM in partnership with multiple UN agencies. 

Produced ‘Ahl El Hetta’; an Egyptian online drama series that won a governmental “Series with Impact” Award delivered in person from Dr. Nevine El Kabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity, “Eyebrows” Short Movie which won the Gouna Star Award for the Best Arab Short at GFF and “It Takes a Village" film; a documentary that won Best Short at NYMA, Best Film with Impact at AIWFF and won the Newgate Inspiration Award at TWEFF. 

I also directed a number of short documentaries, corporate videos and online Ads. 

My latest as a Producer is "The Deepest Breath" documentary that has been released in 2023 on NETFLIX, and had its world premiere at Sundance Film Festival 2023.
