Hello, 

I am extremely excited to be teaching Biology I & Biology II again for the 2026-2027 academic year. I love helping students understand the full diversity of life on our planet and how their own magnificent cells, tissues and body systems work! 

I encourage a positive environment and kind, polite, ACTIVE interactions between students. We will learn COLLABORATIVELY and spend time analyzing scientific articles, graphs, tables and charts and other source material to become familiar with interpreting those as well as sharing scientific findings. Higher order thinking and deeper understanding are encouraged in order to build  in each student the habits of digging deeper and analyzing incoming scientific findings or material critically.
