Objective and skills for the week:

In this section, students will read selected chapters of Where the Mountain Meets the Moon by Grace Lin. Students will explore Minli’s purpose for going on her quest. Students will also read the folktale excerpts included in the story, “The Story of the Fruitless Mountain” and “The Story of the Old Man on the Moon,” to explore how the author incorporated the culture into Minli’s quest
