Objective and skills for the week:

In this section, students will read Chapters 11-14 of The Lightning Thief. The students will continue to compare Percy’s quest with Minli’s quest from Where the Mountain Meets the Moon. Students will read Poseidon from D’Aulaires’ Book of Greek Myths. As Percy discovers who his father is, students will understand Percy’s role in becoming a hero and honoring his father.
