Welcome to 6th grade, 

MIDDLE SCHOOL!! 😬

 I'm so excited to spend this year with you in Reading! I hope you are ready for a totally different type of Reading class. In my room, you are going to learn about yourself while we read and learn about some great characters in our novels. I know reading is a struggle for some kids, but we are going to work together so every student has a positive learning experience. 

Let me just say that Rm. 105 is an active room in which participation is HIGHLY SUGGESTED in order for everyone to have a positive impact on their learning. 

Please know I would never intentionally hurt or embarrass anyone, but I am very passionate about teaching which sometimes comes off as "mean". I love all my students and want them all to do their very best; therefore, I need your help as the parent to make sure this year is a positive experience for all the kids.
