Comprehension skill: Cause and Effect An effect is something that happens. A cause is why it
happens.
Conventions skill: Verbs: A verb tells what is happening in a sentence. Verbs can show action or state of being.
Math skill: We will recognize that 10 ones and 1 ten represent the same quantity. We will understand that numbers between 10 and 20 are composed of 1 ten and some ones. We will model teen numbers.
Social Science/Social Studies Skills: In Social Science, we will continue with our study of Day Patterns where students will observe and the location of the sky at different times of the day. In Social Studies, we will continue with our study of Louisiana History and Cultures, where we will discuss and learn about the native languages spoken by the people of Louisiana. We will discuss that places in Louisiana are named after Native American people that lived in the past.
Homework: *All homework must be completed at home and turned in the next day!

Tuesday- Write spelling words 2 times each.
Wednesday- Write spelling words 2 times and math worksheet.
Thursday- Write spelling words 2 times each and math worksheet
Friday- ELA, Spelling, and Math Test.
