6TH GRADE SCIENCE
Monday-
Topic:
Amplify (Magnetic Fields)
Objective:
Students will continue to learn about magnetic fields with an amplify lesson. Students will learn that In a system of magnets, there is a repelling force between like poles and an attracting force between opposite poles. Also, they will learn that Earth has a huge magnetic field that stretches into space.

Homework:
Ck-12 Using Earth's Magnetic Fields (Due Friday)
Upcoming events
Tuesday-
Topic:
Amplify (Magnetic Fields)
Objective:
Students will continue to learn about magnetic fields with an amplify lesson. Students will learn that the pattern of magnetic field lines around attracting magnets is different from the pattern of magnetic field lines around repelling magnets. Also, Magnetic field lines are a visual model that represents the shape of the invisible magnetic field around a magnet.

Homework:
Ck-12 Using Earth's Magnetic Fields (Due Friday)
Upcoming events:
Wednesday-
Topic:
Amplify (Magnetic Fields)
Objective:
Students will continue to learn about magnetic fields with an amplify lesson. Students will learn that potential energy can be stored in a system, and a magnetic force can convert potential energy stored in a magnetic field to kinetic energy.
To do list:
Bell Ringer
Amplify Lesson

Homework:
Ck-12 Using Earth's Magnetic Fields (Due Friday)
Upcoming events:
Thursday-
Topic:
Amplify (Magnetic Fields)
Objective:
Students will continue to learn about magnetic fields with an amplify lesson. Students will learn that the energy used to move a magnet against a magnetic force is stored as potential energy in the magnetic field, and when a magnet system stores more potential energy, there can be a greater change to a magnet’s kinetic energy.
