The Kentucky State Department of Education recognizes LEADERSHIP as a Gifted and Talented area, just as it does academics, creativity, and visual/performing arts.
To be identified in the area of leadership, students must follow a process to be considered for placement by a committee of evaluators. All students in grades 6-11 are eligible to request to submit a leadership portfolio for evaluation by the GT committee.
