Take Home Folder
Every night your child will bring home a take home folder with homework, notices, and completed classwork. Please review and remove any classwork or notices.
Homework
Please read with your child at night. Make reading fun! Read to them, take turns reading, etc.
Practice addition and subtraction facts through 20.
Morning snack
We will eat a snack in the classroom around 10:15am.
Please pack a work friendly, healthy, nut-free, easy to open, and minimally messy snack for your child. (Examples - fruit, string cheese, popcorn). If you are packing something that needs a utensil please provide the utensil.
Dismissal Changes
Send in a note or email when your child will be traveling home differently then usual. Write their first and last name on the note, as well as my name. If you send an e-mail about any dismissal changes, please be sure to copy our school’s transportation coordinator on the email as well prior to 2:00 p.m. Their contact information is below.

Birthdays
Please note that the Celebration Policy at Bedminster School for birthday celebrations will be Food Free.
If wanted, a book donation in your child’s name may be made for our classroom library. Parent(s) can come in and read a book or a first chapter to the class. If you would like to come in, please contact me in advance so we can arrange a time and day that will work. If your child is having a birthday party at home, please do not distribute invitations at school unless all children are invited.
Recess
If the temperature outside is above freezing and it's not raining, our class will be going outside for recess. Please send your child to school with the appropriate cold-weather clothing.
