WELCOME PARENTS!

Welcome to 2nd Grade! I hope you and your child are enjoying your weeks of summer together.  I am so excited to be setting up our classroom for the upcoming school year! 

Our supply list for the upcoming school year is posted on each individual teacher's website.  You may send these items in with your child on the first day of school or over the course of the first few days. 

I can't wait to work with you and your child this year. Of course I will see your child every day, but I also invite you to be a partner in your child's education.  As a first step in this process a parent questionnaire will be sent home on the first day of school that will help me get a better understanding of your child. I ask that you please take a moment to answer the questions so that I can make your child feel at home in our classroom. 

Along with this information, I also ask that you send in a picture of your family.  Each teacher displays the family pictures on a wall in their classroom to show that we are a school family that works together for a successful school year.  You can send it in with your child during the first few days of school. 

Thank you for taking the time to get your child's school supplies and for giving your input into your child's education. Again, I truly look forward to meeting you and sharing a wonderful second grade year!
