ABOUT LANE NEAHS

For more than 40 years, National Art Honor Society (NAHS) programs have recognized outstanding visual arts students and their teachers. In 2025, the National Art Education Association (NAEA) expanded this legacy by piloting an elementary-level program, the National Elementary Art Honor Society (NEAHS). Lane Elementary School in Bedford, Massachusetts, was selected as one of the NEAHS pilot sites.

NAHS programs support members in achieving the highest standards in art scholarship, character, and service while providing opportunities for leadership, peer recognition, community engagement, and more— helping to promote the value of art education within schools and communities.
