Economics with Problems

One of the best ways to learn economic thinking is by working through problems. This website is about using problems to teach economics. On this site, you will find the text of problems I give students in my economics classes along with video showing how I solve the problem and connections I make to economic thinking and larger economic concepts.

This website is based on three ideas:

1. Studying economics is about learning a way of thinking.

2. Solving problems is the best way to practice thinking.

3. The best way to learn economics is to work through problems.

You can use any of the problems or videos in your own economics courses. So far, I have just posted the videos for the introductory unit of the course. I plan to keep updating the website as I get to new topics this year.
