Arrival/Dismissal Procedures

Morning Drop Off:

Parent drop off is between 7:30am and 7:55am each morning. The back parking lot is where students can be dropped off at school. When you arrive it is important you follow the direction of the traffic pattern. There will be a sawhorse placed in the parking lot with an arrow directing you to the left.  Please do not drive around the sawhorse.  A red flag will be placed on the sawhorse at 7:55am each morning.  If you arrive and see the red flag please proceed to the front of the building where you will park and walk your child(ren) into school to sign them in. Students are marked tardy when arriving after 8:00am.

Afternoon Pick Up:

1. Parents/guardians will park their cars in a designated parking spot. 

2. Proceed to the outside multi-purpose room doors (to the right of the main doors) in order to enter the building. The door on the right is the entrance, while the one on the left is the exit. Note: The outside doors will not be open prior to 2:10 pm each day

3. If you have a white, laminated, permanent dismissal slip from the front office you can proceed to the line. Those who do not have a permanent slip need to fill out a green dismissal slip (located by the entrance). Be sure you also have your identification with you as it will be checked. Once you have those two items you can proceed to the line.

4. At 2:20 pm students who are parent pickup will be called down to the multi-purpose room where they will sit in a line with the rest of their grade level. 

• Once all students are seated, the staff on duty will call your child up to join you. 

• If you have a white, permanent dismissal slip you can leave out the exit. 

• If you have a green dismissal slip then you will move to the next staff meeting who will check your identification.

5. Everyone will exit out the blue doors to the outside of the building. 

Note: In order to receive a laminated dismissal slip you will need to fill out this form and have your ID checked by the main office.
