Mrs. Coughlin Music 

Mrs. Coughlin teaches the 6th grade general music classes, the 5th grade in school instrumental lessons, the 5th and 6th grade Choruses and the 5th/6th grade Select Chorus.  I earned my M.Ed from Lesley University in Integrated Teaching of the Arts and my B.M. in Music Education from the University of New Hampshire.  I studied percussion while at UNH.  This is my 30th year teaching music in the state of NH and my 19th year in Bedford at McKelvie Intermediate. 

I am married and have two sons, one cat and a very large puppy.  My oldest son is serving in the Air Force and my youngest son is out in the "real world."  I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and learning new crafts. I am also an Adjunct Professor in the Education Department at SNHU.
