Go to wevideo.com and sign in with your School Google Account. This should grant you access to the premium features of WeVideo.

WeVideo has an app for mobile devices. For those of you who would like to be able to record and edit on your mobile device, you can use the app. You must make sure that you sign into your @bedfordnhk12.net account to have the district domain access to the product. If you start creating from your mobile phone, you can continue to finish editing on your chromebook.

Make sure you ALWAYS record your phone horizontal (think of a TV). The Google Presentation also shows you how to get your video clips from your phone to Google Drive so that you have ability to access in WeVideo.

Need group members to have access with the project - you MUST first create a project and share with your group members. You can either invite them by searching their name (must already have a WeVideo account) or email the link to the project. Note: Only one person can be in the project at a time. No real time collaboration. 

With our paid subscription to WeVideo, you have access to thousands of free to use gif and stock images. Search in WeVideo to find the images you want to use. 

Find what you want to screen record - NOTE: If you are recording video, should not be more than 30 seconds. Advantage to using WeVideo screen recording feature is that the recording will show up in your media folder right away. Then you can add your recording to the video project that you are completing.

With the paid version of WeVideo, you have the ability to create an audio file - great for podcasting. Check out the Google Slides Presentation to walk you through the process. Big thing to note: when you are done, you must indicate that you want to export the project as audio only to create the appropriate file.

There is a way to mute clips for audio to be stripped away. Instructions on how you can create a VoiceOver clip is also provided in the resource to the right.

With the paid version of WeVideo, you have the ability to use Green Screen affects to help make your videos the way you want. Tech 222 Office has a green screen that you can borrow. This Google Slide presentation can help give you some inspiration as to what is capable. You don't always need to record with a big green background on the wall...you can make objects become a green screen as well.
