What is ParentSquare/StudentSquare?

ParentSquare is a communication platform designed to streamline communication between the district, schools and families. It allows schools to send messages, announcements, and updates to parents through various channels like email, text, or app notifications, helping to keep everyone informed and engaged with what's happening at school.

StudentSquare is a companion platform to ParentSquare, designed for students. In Bedford School District, it is used in grades 7-12 ONLY and facilitates communication and collaboration between students, teachers, and school staff. Students can receive announcements, updates, and participate in discussions, helping them stay informed and engaged with school activities and assignments.

Students 7-12

All students grades 9-12 must activate their Student Square accounts to get notified with information from administration, coaches, etc. Students can either follow along with the slide show presentation or watch the Google Meet Recording walking throught the process.

Bedford School District uses Parent Square to send out notifications to the community. Instructions on how to activate account as well as customize settings can be found in the slide presentation.

CONFERENCE SIGN UPS

Walk through of how to sign up for parent conferences. These videos are designed for parents who are at the high school level, however they could apply to any grade level. Please note: No formal report is provided indicating what conferences you have signed up for. Also, we have found that the mobile app is more user friendly compared to the website when it comes to sign ups.
