Unlike chatGPT, gemini, copilot or other genAI tools that searches the whole internet for information, Gemini Notebook focuses strictly on the sources that are provided in the notebook. It helps you make sense of information by providing flashcards and quizzes to help study, allow you to ask questions to get clarification, and provide resources in different mediums dive into the content. Gemini Notebook is designed to be a tutor, not a shortcut; it helps you connect the dots and master the material yourself.

In some classes, a teacher might provide a notebook relating to a particular unit or topic.
Students must always keep in mind that teachers are assess their own learning, not what genAI produces. There is a time and place when genAI can and should be used.
