Google Sheets is a free, web-based spreadsheet program that provides a powerful grid-based tool for organizing, calculating, and analyzing data. Its primary advantage is that it lives entirely in the cloud, allowing multiple users to edit the same sheet at the same time and see changes instantly, making it perfect for team budgeting, project tracking, and shared data analysis. Since it automatically saves all your work to Google Drive, you can access your spreadsheets from any device, use formulas and functions to perform complex calculations, and visualize your data using built-in charts and graphs.

Please note: If more than one person in your household uses a Google Workspace/Google account on the same device, make sure each person signs out of their account when done. This will avoid the accidental creation of an assignment on dad's account or older sister's account. You'll see your email address in the upper right corner of the screen, click this and choose sign out.
