Google Docs is a free, web-based tool from Google that lets you create, edit, and store documents online that works in your internet browser. Its biggest and most powerful feature is real-time collaboration, which allows multiple people to work on the same document simultaneously from anywhere in the world, seeing each other's changes instantly, with all work automatically saving to your Google Drive account so you never lose your progress. Because it lives entirely online, you can access your files from any computer, tablet, or phone, making it an excellent tool for teamwork, school projects, or writing on the go.

Please note: If more than one person in your household uses a Google Workspace/Google account on the same device, make sure each person signs out of their account when done. This will avoid the accidental creation of an assignment on dad's account or older sister's account. You'll see your email address in the upper right corner of the screen, click this and choose sign out.
