GMail is a free, popular email service created by Google that acts as your digital mailbox on the internet, which you can access from your computer or phone. It is known for making email easy and clean by using powerful tools to automatically filter out junk mail (spam) and by neatly grouping back-and-forth messages into a single conversation thread. Because it's a Google product, it also works smoothly with other services like your online calendar or video call tools, making it a complete hub for your personal and professional communications.

Please note: If more than one person in your household uses a Google Workspace/Google account on the same device, make sure each person signs out of their account when done. This will avoid the accidental creation of an assignment on dad's account or older sister's account. You'll see your email address in the upper right corner of the screen, click this and choose sign out.
