Day 1: Introduce Identities

• warm up challenge problem: (use a unit circle to solve)
• Simplifying trig expressions like 3cosx + 4cosx = 7cosx
• Introduction to the Pythagorean Identities and derive sec / csc versions
• Factoring Trigs!
• Breaking everything into sines/cosines notes #1-4 in class
• HW: Video (#5-10) and practice problems from book #1-6

Day 2: Practice / More identities

• Open Middle Solving Trigs activity - (solo ... paired ... grouped)
• Solving Station activity (calc and no calc) (with a random partner)

Day 4: Double Angle identities

• Solving and Identities practice (includes double angles) - In groups of 3
