FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
GENERAL INFO:
All items must be (mostly) handmade by the vendor.
Gym: spaces are approximately 10 feet wide by 10 feet deep. Spaces will be marked.
Hallway: spaces are approximately 20 feet wide. You can create a very long display but tables will have to be up against the wall for fire code.
Counseling (CH) & Art Hallway (AH) Spaces: Enter through the THEATER ENTRANCE and follow the signs.
Tables & chairs must be provided by vendors.
Two people may submit one application to share a space.
If the application is not accepted into the fair, a new application must be completed for consideration for the subsequent year.
To ensure success of the fair, we limit how many vendors there are selling the same type of craft.
Set up begins at 7:30 the morning of the event. The event will begin at 10:00am.
The fair may provide student volunteers to help the vendors to bring in items (depending on availability)
Bedford High School is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items on the premises.
We have a craft raffle during our event which only contains items from the vendors at that year's show. Vendors are asked to donate an item.
Each space is $60
The Fair Committee will make every effort to accommodate requests.
If you have not arrived to the fair 9:45, the fair staff reserves the right to fill your spot with another vendor.
APPLYING:
This is a JURIED FAIR. Your application will be reviewed, it is not a first-come-first-serve application process.
"I didn't receive your email?" If you aren't receiving fair email please add gilcreastj@bedfordnhk12.net and gilcreastj@sau25.net to your contacts, this keeps my emails out of your spam folder.
Payment is due in full when you are accepted. If not, your space will be given to someone on the wait list.
No refunds will be given, if you have to withdraw within 14 days of the fair, your payment will be a donation.
There will be a $25 service charge for all returned checks.
Applications must be submitted online using the Vendor application.
Accepted vendors will receive an email confirmation.
We reserve the right not to invite a crafter back for violation of the Handmade Fair rules or unprofessional behavior.
