Mrs. Fifer

Hi. My name is Leslie Fifer and I am the Special Education Teacher at Big Island Elementary. I am a native of Bedford County and a graduate of Jefferson Forest High. I graduated from Liberty University and have been teaching in this county for 13 years. I have been married for 6 years and have a son. I love working with children and love teaching all students.

I work with students pushing into classes to assist as needed and pulling students out one on one and in small groups to supplement their classroom learning. While students are with me they are expected to follow the expectations their classroom teachers have set for them.

I am based at Big Island Elementary as well as providing support for students in the Bedford Connects program virtually.
