About Me

I am excited to be at BNES this year! I actually went to elementary school here from K to 6th grade. I completed my student teaching at Thomas Jefferson Elementary in 2015 in 3rd grade. I taught 5th grade at Perrymont Elementary School (all subjects) for one and half years (2015-2016) and came to TJES as a long-term sub in February of 2017 (teaching math, science, spelling and writing). My first full year at TJES was 2017-2018 in 5th grade (teaching Reading, Writing, and History). Last year I taught Reading, and Math.

I am a career switcher. I was a paralegal for 22 years before teaching. I am so happy to be teaching here at BNES!
