Reading Roots is the first grade curriculum for Success for All. Students are assessed each nine-weeks and placed in the appropriate reading group according to assessment results.

- Fast Track Phonics- Students learn to write letters, letter sounds, and how to segment and blend sounds.
- Shared Story- Students work in partners to read a story to practice the focus sounds.
- STaR Story- The teacher reads a story aloud and students practice comprehension and vocabulary skills.
- Adventures in Writing- Students practice writing skills.
