Extracurricular Ensembles

Hello Minutemen Music families!

I'm excited to share information about our spring semester. We are still committed to offering our "out-of-semester" students the opportunity to engage in ensemble music, and also to having a modified Marching Minutemen season that gives the seniors, leaders, and the rest of us a chance to perform for football games, and to put together a show that we can enjoy and be proud of. Here is the weekly schedule we are planning for our students:

  • Mondays: Jazz Band

  • Tuesdays: Percussion Ensemble

  • Thursdays & Fridays: Marching Minutemen

Please read through the Health and Safety Plan for this spring's activities. If you participated in the fall, you'll notice just a few similarities! Changes to the fall plan have been highlighted in yellow. Many, many questions about our activity are in the Health and Safety Plan, but if something isn't clear, please feel free to email me! Here are a few thoughts that I'll share as bullet-point reminders/FAQ:

  • All of these activities are open to students in grades 7-12 (LHS and Bedford Connects Liberty Zone)

  • Spring semester activities require all-new registrations (even if you did Jazz, Guard, or Drumline in the fall)

  • Unfortunately, there are no activity buses. Families are responsible for pickup each day.

  • While we've not finalized an end date for these activities, we will make sure that students who plan to do spring sports are available for their tryouts when the time comes.

Once you're familiar with what we're offering, please take a few minutes to fill out the Registration Form. If you choose Marching Minutemen, there will be several additional questions for you regarding shirt sizes, finances, etc. Again, let me know if you have questions.

We look forward to seeing you back in action with Minutemen Music in just a short while!
