The Bedford County Public Library has online resources as well. You can apply for a card online at:
The Bedford Public Library System has the goal of getting all Bedford County students and homeschool residents a public library card this year. Signing up is easy, if the student is 12 or older, visit https://www.bplsonline.org/mshslinks/ and click on "student card sign up" block. We will process the request and mail a card to the student's home address. For those under 12 we will need a parent/guardian account to link the student account to, that sign up is located here - https://www.bplsonline.org/elemstu/ .
Library Hours during School Year: Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 4 pm
Library Mission Statement: The mission of the library is to ensure students become lifelong learners which will foster literacy, inspire intellectual curiosity, and stimulate the imagination; to ensure students are effective and ethical users of information; to help students achieve success in school; and to provide reading materials to meet the diverse needs of the students to encourage lifelong reading.
