Homework

The students will have a choice of which 3 spelling activities they want to complete and turn them in on Thursday.

This year third grade will be using Spelling City, a web based program for spelling. The students will be given new words each week and they will practice in class each day leading up to the test on Friday.

Reminder

Please sign/initial the assignment book each night and feel free to use it as a means of communication. Thank you!

Your son/daughter will be bringing home a read and respond assignment depending on which SFA group they are in.

Every Monday there will be a home connections slip that needs to be completed at home and brought back to school to share. Your child will need to write three or more sentences describing the GAT lesson for that week. Occasionally your son/daughter will bring home a letter, in their Tuesday folders detailing the focus of what we have been working on in GAT. Please encourage them to talk about what they have been learning in school.
