Meet our friendly and knowledgeable staff! We want to see you reach your goals, which is why we have created a team of experienced professionals to help you on your way. In addition to an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, and Registered Dietitian, our entire team has (at a minimum) a Bachelors of Science Degree in Athletic Training, Dietetic and Nutrition Studies, or Exercise Science. Many also have Personal Training Certifications and are continuing education throughout their career with us.
Mick Machek is a Physical Therapist with over 30+ years of experience. He is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson University, with cum laude honors. Mick is a very modest physical therapist, he likes to let his work speak for itself. What we will tell you about him is that he is an expert at understanding each individual and how to help them achieve their goals. His motto is to treat the person not the “textbook.”
Maggie graduated from East Stroudsburg University with a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training. She is also an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer. She was a Division II collegiate softball player prior to transferring to East Stroudsburg University, where she completed hands-on experience as an athletic training student with collegiate and high school athletes in varying sports. She has several years prior experience working as an exercise therapist in a rehabilitative office setting, and has been working with both patients and members with us for over six years. Maggie spends her time away from work with her family.
Gavin Wallace is a certified personal trainer who has been training since 2020. With accreditation from the National Council of Strength and Fitness, as well as expertise as a Head Trainer at F45, Gavin uses his acute eye for detail to push his clients towards their goals. Whether the goal is overall health, building muscle or preparing for a sport, Gavin aims to prescribe exactly what you need every time you walk in the door.
Since earning his degree from Nyack Collece in 2006, fitness has been a central part of Craig's personal and professional journey. He began his career coaching collegiate soccer and working as a personal trainer in Long Island, NY. Over the years, Craig has coached at both Division II and Division III programs along the East Coast, consistently emphasizing the importance of year-round strength and conditioning to enhance athletic performance.
After relocating to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area, Craig renewed his certifications in personal training and group fitness and is currently pursuing advanced credentials in strength and conditioning. He has been proud to call Wilkes-Barre his home for the past 3 years, where he continues to share his passion for fitness and athletic development.
