We are Sunset High School’s Speech and Debate team! With over 100 members whose interests range from economics to film to architecture, our club exhibits a diverse community of unique-minded individuals who all share a unified passion for this amazing OSAA activity. We are one of the premier ranked teams in the state, 2021, 2025, and 2026 State Champions. Runner up in 2022, 2023. and 2024. We annually achieve Academic All Americans, National and International Qualifiers.

This is Ms. Mackey’s 9th season as the Coach of the Sunset Speech & Debate team. She has put tremendous effort into this year long OSAA Activity from hosting and managing tournaments to scheduling fundraisers and events. We are so grateful for her time and support in making our activity better every year!
