Varsity Head Coach: Erik Reynolds
My name is Erik Reynolds and I am honored to lead the Southridge Girls Soccer program and I look forward to making a positive impact. I enjoy supporting and helping guide players to reach their full potential individually and as a team, while having fun along the way. I love how sports prepare student-athletes for their futures through physical and mental challenges.
I played soccer from kindergarten through high school and continue to play when I have time. I have coached youth soccer for 10 years, track & field for one college season, and am entering my fourth season coaching high jump for the track & field team at Southridge.
Beyond work and coaching, I am often outside bicycling, hiking, or paddling. I met my wife in high school and we have two daughters.
Assistant Varsity Coach: Julia Sattler
My name is Julia Sattler and I will be entering my second year with the Southridge Girls Soccer program, where I served as the JV Head Coach last season. I believe in challenging and supporting athletes to be the best version of themselves, both on and off the field. I love soccer, and enjoy sharing my passion for the game through coaching.
I played NCAA Division I soccer at Oregon State University and continued my career professionally in Europe, competing in Germany and in top divisions in Austria, Albania, and Croatia. I was fortunate to play in the UEFA Women’s Champions League during that time. I most recently played semi-professionally for Minnesota Aurora FC and professionally in Split, Croatia.
Before joining Southridge, I was a Varsity Assistant Coach at Central Catholic High School. I also have extensive experience coaching youth soccer with various local programs, including the Portland Thorns RTC, Portland Timbers Youth Camps, Capital FC, Westside Metros FC, Coerver Coaching, and individual private training.
This fall, I’ll be starting a doctorate degree program in Occupational Therapy. I love to travel and drink iced coffee. I grew up in Beaverton, Oregon.

Off the field and outside of the classroom I enjoy spending time with my family. My wife Rachel and I have three children. Two of our children have graduated from Southridge (Class of ‘23 and ‘24) and the third will be a part of the 2030 class.

Goalkeeper Coach: Braden Conn
Hi! My name is Braden Conn and I’m very excited to join the Southridge Soccer program as a Goalkeeping Coach [supporting our Girls and Boys Programs]. I’ve had a lot of development poured into me through my soccer journey and am excited to help give that back to a new generation. My approach to goalkeeping is a balance between the mental, technical, tactical, and physical aspects of the game.
I grew up playing the goalkeeper position in both high school and club back in Ohio. I played 4 years at the collegiate level, attending the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana. After graduation, I volunteered as a Goalkeeping Coach for all levels at Fort Wayne United FC. Last year, I joined Adrienne C. Nelson High School as an Assistant Coach.
Outside of soccer, I spend time with my girlfriend, Miranda, and our 5 year old cat Winona.
